“ I have eaten here many times for breakfast...food was good and service was on point...the place is cute and quaint.... ”
“ I'm a Stroudsburg native and have been coming to Compton's since I was a kid. While I am not thrilled about the steady increase of prices over the years, there is hands down no better place for breakfast in the Poconos. Will you occasionally hear some waitstaff cuss each other out? 100%. But your food is going to be fresh, a great value, and delicious. Don't come to Compton's expecting to have a Disney World touristy customer service experience. The staff are hardworking local people with bills to pay, families to feed, and stress from inconsiderate customers. Just know that they will feed you and take good care of you. I'll always come back whenever I'm in town. ”
“ The food. The service. All of it. Was amazing!! Jackie, our server, was the best. Right on point with her recommendation. Must stop by and have pancakes here! ”
“ A must try!!!! Stopped on the way to an event and boy was I amazed. First of all, Jackie was amazing!!!! Sold us on the cheesecake and pumpkin pancakes and they were delicious!!! The whipped cream and hot sauce were tasty and homemade. I also had the country fried steak and eggs beyond stuffed!!! Overall a 5 out of 5 experience!! P.S. this is the only thing left ”
“ A nice small pancake place. Was very quiet when I went. Seemed like a locals kind of place; everyone knew each other. Nothing outstanding about the food; just a good, solid regular pancake. Got the short stack of three. ”
“ Service is excellent! Ambiance is older dinner feeling, but it works. I recommend coming during the week because the weekends are slamming busy, but you DO want to get here on vacation or day off because their breakfast is one of the very best. We ordered the eggs, meat & pancakes with the up charge for Philly Cheesecake pancakes. Simple scrambled eggs with adding Swiss cheese are absolutely drool worthy. I could not stop eating them and hit the food wall when it was time to eat my pancakes. Duly noted, depending on how much you usually eat.. share one order of the Philly Cheesecake Pancakes with your friend/spouse. ”
“ My boyfriend and I went here to check out the pancakes, and the pancakes were beyond good. They tasted sweet but not overly sweet. Doesn't leave a heavy feeling in your stomach either. The customer service was great and everyone there is very sweet. I also thought everything was affordable compared to other pancake spots. ”
“ Cheap, fast and easy!! We loved our stop at Compton's. Great, friendly service that was very efficient. Loved the hash browns. Home-town diner vibe that can't be beat. Would love to stop here again!! ”
